README

Fluentboards skill — setup

An agent skill for driving [Fluentboards](https://fluentboards.com) over its REST API: boards, stages, cards, comments, labels, subtasks, attachments and custom fields, from one `fb.sh` CLI.

Setup is three env vars and takes a few minutes. Do it once.

1. Install the skill

Clone this repository into your agent's skills directory. Claude Code reads `~/.claude/skills/`:

git clone https://github.com/HurayraIIT/fluentboards.git ~/.claude/skills/fluentboards

Other agents use their own directory — `~/.agents/skills/` is a common one. Any location works as long as the tool loads `SKILL.md` from it; nothing in the scripts depends on where they live.

2. Generate a WordPress Application Password

  1. Sign in to your Fluentboards site and open https://your-site.com/wp-admin/profile.php.
  2. Scroll to Application Passwords near the bottom.
  3. Enter a name you will recognise later, e.g. claude-fluentboards-skill.
  4. Click Add New Application Password.
  5. Copy the 24-character password. It looks like abcd efgh ijkl mnop qrst uvwx, spaces included. WordPress shows it once — losing it means generating another.

Application Passwords are separate from your login password and can be revoked individually from the same page.

3. Add the env vars to your shell

Replace the site, username and password below with your own, then paste the block for your shell. It appends the three lines to your rc file and reloads it, so the vars work in this terminal and every new one.

**zsh** (macOS default):

EOF

**bash** (most Linux systems, WSL):

cat >> ~/.bashrc <<'EOF'

# Fluentboards skill credentials
