An open-source TypeScript agent that connects Anthropic's Claude to [Ballast](https://ballast.to) over the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

It reads a list of leads, writes a short three-step cold sequence for each one, schedules the campaign on Ballast, and checks the Unibox to answer incoming replies.

Why this exists

Connecting an AI model to an outbound pipeline usually means writing custom REST glue and managing webhook state. Most cold email platforms also charge per connected seat or mailbox, which gets expensive as sending scales across rotated domains.

This starter template pairs Claude with Ballast over MCP:

  1. Model Context Protocol tools: Claude creates campaigns, writes sequences, enrolls leads, and reads replies using native tool calls rather than custom API wrappers.
  2. Paced sending and deliverability controls: Ballast sends with randomized 4-to-10 minute gaps between emails, matches Google senders to Gmail and Microsoft senders to Outlook, and pauses campaigns automatically when bounces climb.
  3. Flat volume pricing: Ballast starts at $19 per month for 20,000 emails with unlimited mailboxes, unlimited seats, and automated warmup on every plan.
