Overview
NASA ADS Skill packages the public [NASA Astrophysics Data System Developer API](https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/help/api/) as a reusable workflow for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and compatible Markdown-skill hosts. It can search astronomy and astrophysics literature, retrieve and read lawful article full text, preserve rich multi-topic paper knowledge in a searchable local database, reuse prior reading by exact article version and topic coverage, inspect publication metadata, export citations, work with ADS libraries, calculate bibliometric summaries, and discover related papers or data links.
