What Showboard does

Your coding agent answers with dashboards, not paragraphs. An MCP server for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and more: charts and tables from read-only SQL on Postgres, SQLite, Excel or CSV, in your browser, your app or a terminal pane. 2.7× cheaper than Claude Code making the charts itself.

Showboard is an open-source **MCP server** that lets **Claude Code**, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and other coding agents answer questions about your **SQL database**, or a folder of **Excel and CSV files**, with charts, tables and headline numbers: in your browser, inside your own app, or beside your terminal.
