Content Voice Audit

A Claude skill that gives a fast, honest, sourced read on an organization's existing public voice, built for a two-minute conversation opener before a client pitch or a job interview where you'll be asked "so what would you actually change?"

Unlike a full marketing audit, this skill is deliberately lightweight. It reads an organization's live website and, when available, recent social posts or a newsletter, and names what's working, where the voice is inconsistent, whether it fits the intended audience, and the single biggest fix, all sourced back to the actual copy.

Output covers:

What's working — a specific, sourced example
Where it's inconsistent — examples from at least two sources
Audience fit read — who the copy seems to actually be written for
The one thing to fix first — the highest-leverage change, with reasoning

Delivered inline in chat, short enough to read out loud in under two minutes.

How to use it

Download SKILL.md from this repo.
In Claude, go to Customize > Skills, click + Create skill > Upload a skill, and upload the file (as a .skill/.zip package, or package it yourself — see Anthropic's skill docs).
Give Claude an organization's website (and social/newsletter links if you have them) and ask for a quick voice read.

Notes

Requires web search / web fetch access in Claude.
This is a conversation-starter, not a substitute for a full written marketing audit when a deeper report is warranted.
