Packrift Packaging Agent
**A production deployment of [Anthropic's Claude commerce agents](https://github.com/anthropics/commerce-agents) on a live B2B store: 13,000 packaging SKUs, real freight, real carts, a human quote desk for the orders an agent should not check out on its own.**
Status: built, deployed, and verified end to end against the live store (September 3, 2026); the public page and the model-backed chat are switched off pending a decision on API spend. Everything below runs as documented.
Anthropic's blueprint ships four fictional verticals: retail, travel, telecom, entertainment. This repository is a fifth, and it is not fictional. It is the shopping agent from the blueprint running over [Packrift](https://packrift.com), a packaging distributor on Shopify, with the parts a spec-driven, freight-dominated B2B catalog needs and the blueprint does not cover. Everything is open source (Apache-2.0) so another merchant can start from a store that already runs it.
What is different about packaging
Retail agents search by keyword and hand off to checkout. Packaging buyers do neither.
