What Dependency First Architect does

A planning skill for coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) that turns a build request into a dependency-ordered build plan: hard-to-reverse tradeoffs settled up front, a walking skeleton in production first, validation gates for every hypothesis, and security/observability threaded through each phase.

Ask your agent to "plan a customer-support chatbot over our help-center docs". With this skill, you get a **build plan in dependency order** instead of a list of components: the foundations first, a test for every risky assumption, and no real users until those tests pass.

It is only Markdown instructions, no code.

Install

**1. Check that you have Python 3.9 or newer.** Run `python3 --version` (on Windows, `py --version`). No Python? [Install by hand](#install-by-hand) instead.

**2. Open a terminal in your project's folder and paste the block for your system.**

**macOS, Linux, WSL, Git Bash** (in Git Bash, if `python3` is not found, change it to `py -3` in the last line):

f=install-dependency-first-architect-v2.1.0.py; t="$(mktemp -d)"
curl -fsSL -o "$t/$f" "https://github.com/NiravRVaghasiya/dependency-first-architect/releases/download/v2.1.0/$f" || echo "Download failed."
h="$(sha256sum "$t/$f" 2>/dev/null || shasum -a 256 "$t/$f" 2>/dev/null)"

**Windows PowerShell:**
