sobre
**Context tools for coding agents that run on your machine and nowhere else.**
`sobre` sits between your coding agent and your repository. The agent asks for a file, a search or a shell command; `sobre` aims to answer with less: signatures instead of a whole file, a compressed build log instead of the full one, a one-line stub when the agent re-reads a file it already has. Every output it changes says so, and the original stays reachable.
It works with Claude Code, Codex, Copilot CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, VS Code, Windsurf and Zed.

It downloads from GitHub only, and runs nothing but `sobre --version`: run `sobre init` next.
