Skillmonitor — Development skill for Claude Code

Development community

Track which Claude Code skills you actually use: a mod records every skill call into local SQLite, and a CLI shows 1/7/30/90/180-day counts, including skills you never use.

How to install Skillmonitor

This entry records only its repository, not the path inside it, so there is no exact command to give. Open Maduki-tech/skillmonitor and copy the folder into ~/.claude/skills/, or the file into ~/.claude/agents/.

README

skillmonitor

Find out which Claude Code skills you actually use.

skillmonitor records every skill call in a local SQLite database and shows how often each skill was used in the last 1, 7, 30, 90 and 180 days. Installed skills you have never used show up with zeros, so you can see what to clean up.

`skillmon web` opens the same data as an analytics page: calls over time, top skills, calls by hour, filters for time range and invocation, and suggestions for what to clean up.

It counts both ways a skill can run: you typing `/some-skill`, and the model calling the Skill tool.

Requirements

What Version Why
Claude Code 2.1.288 or newer The recorder is a Claude Code mod (skill.prompt hook)
Bun 1.3 or newer Runs the skillmon CLI and provides SQLite (bun:sqlite)
git any To clone this repo
OS Linux Install uses symlinks and ~/.local/bin

Nothing else is needed. There are no runtime npm dependencies and no separate SQLite install. Older Claude Code versions are untested and may not support mods. macOS should work (the web view opens with `open` there) but is untested.

Install

**1. Clone the repo.** P
