Kybase — self-hosted memory for AI agents: a markdown knowledge base you read and edit, and your agent never forgets. Next.js, PostgreSQL + pgvector, Ollama, MCP, one docker compose up.

Your AI forgets when the session ends. Kybase remembers.

Kybase gives Claude, Cursor, Windsurf and any other MCP-speaking agent a long-term memory you own: one Markdown knowledge base, running on your own machine, that every agent can search, read and update — and that you can open in a browser and edit by hand.

Kybase in use: a markdown note with wikilinks, the knowledge graph with wikilink and semantic edges, then a plain-language question — 'what broke in production' — returning the right incident note first, even though none of those words appear in it.
