Frozen — terminal coding agent measured at 1.93× fewer tokens than Codex CLI. Still works; active development moved to JuliusBrussee/caveman (caveman wrap).

This entry records only its repository, not the path inside it, so there is no
exact command to give. Open the source below and copy the folder into
~/.claude/skills/, or the file into ~/.claude/agents/.

**Status: frozen (August 2026).** Caveman Code is no longer in active development. It still installs and works, but expect no new features or fixes. The lesson moved into [caveman](https://github.com/JuliusBrussee/caveman): `caveman wrap` makes the agent you already use cheaper instead of replacing it. Note: this package installs a `caveman` binary that shadows the caveman CLI from that repo — uninstall one before installing the other.
