Restart Claude Code, or start a new session, for it to be picked up.

What Git Pull does

Pull the latest changes from the remote for the current branch.

Steps

  1. Run git branch --show-current to identify the current branch.
  2. Pull from origin:
git pull origin
  1. Report the result — show the fast-forward summary or confirm the branch is already up to date.

Rules

  • If there are uncommitted local changes that would conflict with the pull, report the issue and stop — do not stash or discard changes automatically.
  • If the pull results in merge
