OKF-Starter

**Turn how your team actually works into a knowledge base that stays true.**

You describe a business area — a process, who does what, which systems are involved, the rules and the pain points — and this turns it into a tidy set of pages where **every fact records where it came from and who confirmed it**. Then it builds a small website your colleagues can read.

You do not need to be technical. You will not write code. You talk to an assistant in plain English, and a person you trust approves the result before anything is saved.

What you need

• A Windows PC.
• About 15 minutes, once.

That is the whole list. The setup program checks what is already on your PC and installs what is missing. If it cannot install something — many work computers block that — it tells you exactly what to ask your IT team for, and carries on with everything else.

Getting started

Step 1 — Download

Click the green **`Code`** button near the top of this page, then **Download ZIP**.

Step 2 — Unzip it

Right-click the downloaded file and choose **Extract All**. Put it somewhere you will find again — Documents is fine. You will get a folder called `OKF-Starter`.

**Rename that folder** to whatever you want to call your project, for example `Permit-Review-Knowledge`. The name is yours; nothing depends on it.

Step 3 — Run the setup

Open the folder, right-click **`setup.ps1`**, and choose **Run with PowerShell**.
