Why this exists

Attorneys need to parse, search, and ask questions across **privileged, confidential documents**, but sending those documents to a closed-model cloud API (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) puts that privilege at risk. In *United States v. Heppner* (S.D.N.Y. 2026), a court found that a defendant's chats with a consumer cloud AI tool were not prot
