The CONTRACT mnemonic — 8-point checklist every agent applies when reviewing any contract:

C — Capacity & Competence: Are parties legally capable? Correct legal entities? Signing authority confirmed? Board resolution obtained?

O — Offer & Obligations: Is the deal clearly defined? Who must do what, and by when? Any vague or open-ended commitments?

N — Nature of Consideration: What is being paid or exchanged? Payment timing, method, conditions? Consequences of non-payment?
