README

kitz 🔱

Capture Claude Code **commands**, **skills**, and **plugins** the instant the idea lands - and drop them in the right `.claude/` scope without breaking flow.

One portable `sh` engine, three muscle-memory names:

Name Makes Lands at
cmdz slash command /.claude/commands/.md
sklz skill /.claude/skills//SKILL.md
plgz plugin /.claude/plugins//
kitz home dashboard browse / manage / create everything

Install

git clone https://github.com/H0BB5/kitz ~/Projects/kitz
sh ~/Projects/kitz/install.sh # symlinks kitz/cmdz/sklz/plgz into PATH

Requires `fzf` (interactive pickers). `bat` (preview) and `$EDITOR` are optional but nice. Uninstall: `sh install.sh --uninstall`. Check your setup any time:

kitz --doctor # deps, editor, generation model, and the scopes you'd write to

Homebrew

brew install h0bb5/tap/kitz # installs kitz + cmdz/sklz/plgz

Uses one shared tap (`h0bb5/homebrew-tap`) for all your tools - no double-slug, and future tools install as `h0bb5/tap/`. Publishing flow (one-time): push this repo + tag a release, run `./release.sh v0.1.2` to get the `url`/`sha256`, paste into `homebrew/kitz.rb`, and push that file to `h0bb5/homebrew-tap` at `Formula/kitz.rb`. The repo must be public for the tarball URL to resolve. See the header of `homebrew/kitz.rb`.

Use - three speeds

# 1. One-shot (zero prompts) - idea straight to disk
cmdz deploy -m 'Deploy $1 to $2. Confirm before prod.' -D 'deploy helper' -s project -y

# 2. Quick - editor opens prefilled, save, pick scope
cmdz deploy

# 3. Full - the home dashboard: browse, manage, or create anything
kitz

Bare `kitz` opens the **home dashboard** - one list of every command, skill, and plugin across all scopes, with a live preview. Copying or revealing flashes a `✓` confirmation in the header:
