Why

You watch a great technical talk or course. You take notes. Three months later you can't remember the key frameworks.

The usual workarounds don't help:

🎬 "Let me just re-watch the video" → 90 minutes to find the one concept you need
🧠 "I'll ask Claude about this video" → it has no idea what you're talking about
📝 "I'll search my notes" → you have a 300-line transcript you never open again

**video-to-skill** solves this by turning the video into a structured skill Claude loads on demand.

Once installed, you just type `/video-slug concurrency` and Claude reads the right segment and applies the speaker's frameworks — no hallucination, no digging through video timestamps.

What it generates

Running `/video-to-skill https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... [skill-name]` creates a full skill at `~/.claude/skills//`:
