Course TA Plugin

Your AI teaching assistant for the **Build a Production-Ready App with Claude Code** workshop by Every Consulting.

This plugin gives you a personal TA right inside Claude Code. It knows the course material, understands you're learning, and is here to help whenever you get stuck or want to go deeper on any topic.

Install

Run these two commands inside Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add EveryInc/course-ta-plugin

/plugin install course-ta@course-ta-plugin

That's it! The plugin is now active. Type `/setup` to get started.

Getting Started

`/setup`

**Run this first!** It gets to know you (name, experience, what you want to build) and then checks that your machine has everything installed for the course — Node.js, Git, GitHub, Vercel, and the skills you'll need. If anything's missing, it walks you through installing it step by step.

`/ask-your-ta`

This is your go-to command. Whenever you have a question — any question — type `/ask-your-ta` followed by your question. Your TA knows the course material, the tech stack, and will meet you where you are.

A few things you can try:

/ask-your-ta What is a database?
/ask-your-ta My app isn't starting (paste a screenshot!)
/ask-your-ta Can you explain what a pull request is?
/ask-your-ta How does deployment work?

Learn about what comes with your course enrollment — recordings, Discord community, office hours, and more.

Tips

Share screenshots. When something isn't working, a screenshot helps your TA figure out what's going on way faster than a text description.
Ask "why", not just "how". Your TA loves going deeper. If something sounds interesting, ask about it.
This plugin stays with you. It keeps working after the course is over. Use it whenever you're building with Claude Code.
