📋 What is clampdown?

clampdown lets you run AI coding agents inside safe containers. These containers protect your computer by keeping the AI code in a locked space, stopping it from causing harm or accessing your personal data. This tool uses smart security features to give you more control and safety when working with AI.

You do not need to know how containers or AI work to use clampdown. It works on Windows and helps you start quickly.

🧰 What You Need

Before you install clampdown on Windows, make sure your computer meets these needs:

• Windows 10 or newer (64-bit recommended)
• At least 4 GB of free RAM
• 5 GB of free disk space for containers and files
• Internet connection to download the software
• Administrator rights on your computer to install required software

clampdown runs containers using tools like Docker or Podman. This software lets clampdown create a safe space to run AI agents. You will install one of these tools as part of the setup.
