⚰️ Archived — here lies K-LEAN (2026)

K-LEAN tried to give Claude Code a committee: round up OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Moonshot & friends, make them argue, and ship only what they agreed on. A second opinion for your agent, before "second opinion for your agent" was a product.

The idea was good enough that other people — hi, **Perplexity** — went off and built the same thing. I'll take that as peer review.

Making it work taught me an enormous amount: LiteLLM proxying, multi-model consensus, cross-platform hooks on Windows/Linux/macOS, a persistent knowledge store, packaging to PyPI. Zero regrets on the learning.

Then the coding harnesses got *really* good. Turns out one very capable model in a very good harness beats a parliament of mediocre ones arguing in the comments. Asking five LLMs to vote on your diff became like hiring a focus group to help you tie your shoes.

Right idea, wrong decade — by about eighteen months. Archived with affection. The code still runs; it just no longer needs to.
