Prompt Arcade

An unofficial plugin for Claude Code

Unofficial community plugin. Not made or endorsed by Anthropic. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC.

Mini games in the band above the Claude Code prompt, to play while Claude works. It works in the desktop app's Code tab and in the terminal, with achievements, sound and saved progress.

It's a Claude Code function-hooks plugin (a "mod"): one hooks module draws the band, runs the game loop and keeps the scores, and each game is a pure module.

It's made in code from the real games (`trailer/`).

Install

It needs a recent Claude Code, one that loads function-hook plugins (tested on 2.1.283). In Claude Code, add this repo as a plugin marketplace, then install the plugin from it:

/plugin marketplace add brockriemenschneider/prompt-arcade
/plugin install prompt-arcade@prompt-arcade

Or from a shell, with `claude plugin marketplace add brockriemenschneider/prompt-arcade` and then `claude plugin install prompt-arcade@prompt-arcade`.

It installs for your user, so it loads in every session, in the terminal and in the desktop app's Code tab alike. A session that's already open picks it up with `/reload-plugins`.

To update, run `claude plugin update prompt-arcade@prompt-arcade`, or turn on auto-update for the marketplace in `/plugin` (Marketplaces). To remove it, run `claude plugin uninstall prompt-arcade@promp
