Agent Job — AI skill for Claude Code

Scheduled instructions and goals for live AI agent sessions on one machine: Claude Code, OpenCode, the Antigravity CLI (`agy`) and pi. It is the command-line tool behind the `agent-job` agent skill.

• A cron fires at a time: a cron expression, a one-time time or a fixed interval, plus an instruction. A daemon injects the instruction into the session as an ordinary turn when it is due.
• A goal keeps a session on one objective: it is sent when it is created, again at every turn end until the agent marks it done or blocked, and again after a compaction.

Both are sent only while the session is open. When the session closes they end by themselves, and nothing is ever run headless.

Each runtime receives them its own way:

• OpenCode: the daemon steers the text into the session through OpenCode's API, and watches the session's messages for turn ends and compactions.
• Claude Code: through the agent-job channel MCP server (or an agent-job watch Monitor), and Stop/SessionStart hooks for goals.
• Antigravity: typed into an agy TUI running in herdr, and Stop/PreInvocation hooks for goals.
• pi: through the agent-job extension for pi (agent-job pi-extension).

Install

agent-job is one bundled JavaScript file that runs with [Bun](https://bun.sh); install Bun first.

With the install script

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bdsanxz/agent-job/main/install.sh | sh

This downloads `agent-job.js` from the latest release, checks its SHA-256, and installs it as `~/.local/bin/agent-job`, one global command that every agent on the machine can use.

Options go after `sh -s --`:
