How to install Worktree

Installs to ~/.claude/commands/barefootford-buttercut-worktree.md

Terminal

mkdir -p ~/.claude/commands && curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/barefootford/buttercut/HEAD/.claude/commands/worktree.md -o ~/.claude/commands/barefootford-buttercut-worktree.md

Restart Claude Code, or start a new session, for it to be picked up.

What Worktree does

Create Worktree with Library

Create a new git worktree with all libraries and media from main.

Arguments

`` - The name for the new branch and worktree

Example: `/worktree feature-test`

User provided: $ARGUMENTS

Instructions

Parse the branch name from arguments
Always use the main branch worktree at /Users/andrew/code/buttercut as the source
Create a new git worktree at ../ with a new branch of the same name
Copy the entire libraries/ dir
