Dudes — Development skill for Claude Code

Development community

Run Claude Code, Codex and Pi agents toward goals the daemon verifies itself.

How to install Dudes

This entry records only its repository, not the path inside it, so there is no exact command to give. Open ArcfluxResearch/dudes and copy the folder into ~/.claude/skills/, or the file into ~/.claude/agents/.

What Dudes does

Run Claude Code, Codex and Pi agents toward goals the daemon verifies itself. Give each agent a role and a goal with a completion check; Dudes keeps it working until its own run of the check passes. Rust daemon and CLI, with a 3D office view in the browser.

Dudes is a supervisor for coding agents, written in Rust. You hire an agent, such as Claude Code, Codex or Pi, and give it a role. You then talk to it, or give it a **goal** with a completion check. A background daemon keeps the agent working until the daemon's own run of that check passes. The **Floor** is a 3D office in your browser. It shows each agent at a desk, and what you see there is what the daemon knows.

![The Floor in a browser. An isometric voxel office holds a crew of eight: four agents type at desks, two stand at the goal board between turns, one sits on the lounge sofa under a question mark, and one stands at the bell after its goal is done. The top bar counts the crew by status. The Crew list on the left shows each agent's initial, role, engine, workspace, goal and status. The drawer on the right is open on the waiting agent, with a portrait of its voxel figure, its question, an answer box and the buttons to pause, retire or attach to it.](.github/readme/floor.webp)

Status

Dudes is an early preview (pre-alpha), and commands and configuration keys can still change between releases. Prebuilt releases for macOS and Linux on x86_64 and arm64 install with one command, as shown below. Windows can build the binaries but has no prebuilt release or installer. The full first run has been rehearsed only on macOS on Apple silicon. See [Platforms and known limits](docs/platforms-and-limits.md).
