The Cold Loop: install in 60 seconds

The part of an Execution Squad that goes at strangers. Warm Extract talked to people you already knew; this one builds a list of 50 named businesses you have never met, writes the 3 messages each of them gets, keeps the log that says what actually went out, and on Sunday hands you 2 numbers and one change. Once you have finished a batch by hand, it loads the next one into Instantly so the sending happens while you sleep, from your own mailbox, on a list you personally approved.

It never sends anything. You press send.

What to bring

Your offer document at `squad/business.md` (the draft from your warm calls is enough to start). A town and a trade. **A real postal address**, because every cold message carries one by law, at any volume, with no exception for business email. The mailbox these go out of, which is never the address your paying clients reply to. And 30 minutes a day, which is what 50 people a week actually costs once the follow-ups stack.

Install

Drop this whole folder, `references/` included, into `.claude/skills/` in your business folder, then quit and reopen Claude Code. One tool to start: **Apify**, wired with your own token the way the Winning Offer lesson wired it, which is what pulls the list. Already wired there, and there is nothing to do. Instantly comes later and only after your first batch is finished, so there is nothing to buy today.

Run it

Four sentences, in the order the weeks happen:

  • "Build my outreach list." It asks your town, your country and the list's country, then pulls 120 businesses, drops the chains and the dead rows, writes one sentence per company on what is broken there, and stops. You cut it to 50 and say why. Your reason goes in the file, and the next pull reads it back and works to it.
  • "Write my cold email." One message under 125 words whose first line is that company's broken thing, plus the day-4 and day-9 follow-ups, each with your address and an o
