That's a real session from Monday 26 Oct 2026, 11:38 to 11:49 IST, in paper mode with Zerodha. The Nifty 500 scan put TCS and HCLTECH on both the daily-breakout and opening-range lists, and both triggered. On paper each was a clean 2:1. After charges it was 1.76:1. As F&O stocks, both stop continuous trading at 3:15 for the closing auction, and Zerodha squares them off at 3:12. Ten thousand replays each from their own last 58 sessions said the stop comes first, and the same rule had lost money on both. **The best trade is often the one the tools talk you out of.**
